This Monday 19th July the Government is relaxing Covid regulations. We have endeavoured to keep you all safe and adhered to all Government rules, however we now enter a period where personal responsibility also plays a part in managing this pandemic, therefore the following framework for BVGC will be in place;
All course furniture is returned for normal use, flag sticks can now be removed, and bunker rakes and ball washers are back on the course. Sanitiser is on the 1st and 18th holes so please ensure you use this regularly to clean your hands. Practice area, chipping and putting greens and practice nets can operate without restrictions on the number of users.
During the Round.
The Governments removal of rules and guidance around social distancing and congregation numbers means that there are no restrictions on the golf course with regard to course furniture, sharing equipment, touching golf balls or the size of groups beyond those set by BVGC.
Clubhouse and Hospitality.
The bar and restaurant will be open with no restriction on numbers, drinks will be bought from the bar and waitress service will end. Food will be ordered at the bar as before restrictions. Changing Rooms and toilets will revert to normal use and no restriction on numbers.
Face Masks & Sanitisers.
The wearing of face masks is up to each of you individually and whilst they are no longer mandatory when in the Clubhouse or Pro Shop you may feel more comfortable wearing a mask which is perfectly acceptable, our staff may also be wearing masks at different times. Please respect each individual's choice on wearing or not wearing a mask at BVGC. The hand sanitisers will remain and please continue to wash and sanitise your hands regularly.
Track and Trace.
As we know virtually everyone using the club facilities we will not Track and Trace but if you wish to use the QR code to sign in that is fine.
