- Blandford Flies - it's that time of the year again

Dear Member,

As the weather has got warmer Blandford flies are on the rise, these flies can cause nasty bites. It is typical that you see these flies in May/ June, they are less than 3mm long and black, the bugs are hard to spot because they fly low to the ground and usually target ankles and legs. Please be cautious of this and cover up your legs as best as possible, or use insect repellent.
